Tusker FC to take FKF to FIFA

Nairobi - Tusker FC will take the Football Kenya Federation to FIFA to contest the award of an abandoned game with Muhoroni Youth to the latter team.

The brewers lost the three points after an FKF committee ruled that their abandoned clash with Muhoroni in which they were accused of fielding an extra player for close to ten minutes.

The match was initially awarded to Tusker but with the FKF overturning it, has now forced Tusker to seek FIFA redress.

" We will ask FIFA to intervene because according to the rules the match should be awarded to us so we will see, a source from the club said.

Tusker are third in the Kenyan Premier League standings at the moment and are out of the title race unless they can get the full points from the Muhoroni game.
