Thika's Odhiambo joins Blackburn Rovers

05 February 2014, 12:25

Nairobi - Top tier side Thika United has loaned out midfielder Moses Dube Odhiambo to South African National First Division side Blackburn Rovers.

Odhiambo had been in South Africa for trials in the past week and it was uncertain whether he would be a part of the club for the 2014 season after missing out on the club's final list for the season.

Head coach John Kamau said the former Gor Mahia mid fielder will play for his new club for a period of six months.

" Odhiambo is in South Africa for a six month loan deal with Blackburn Rovers.

" He left here to try his luck and even though we will miss him, we wish him all the best.

Odhiambo was dropped by Gor Mahia at the end of the 2013 season.
