Nairobi - Thika United are banking on their return to the Thika Municipal Stadium to help boost them for the remainder of the season.
The Thika Municipal Stadium was banned by the Kenyan Premier League LTD at the beginning of the season due to its bumpy surface but it is understood that the Kiambu County government has fixed it and it is good for use by the Thika outfit.
Head coach John Kamau says that he is looking forward to heading back home and hopes the stadium can be re-admitted by the KPL soon.
" The County government has done well and we as a club thank them. The playing surface is now in top condition and we are looking forward to coming back home, he said.
Thika have been using the Nairobi City Stadium as their home ground for the current season.
