Sudan end goal drought to hold Angola

27 January 2012, 10:33

Mohamed Bashir and Manucho scored a brace apiece as Sudan and Angola shared spoils in an Africa Cup of Nations game that ended in a 2-2 draw at Nuevo Estadio de Malabo.

Angola, who were boosted by the availability of striker Nando Rafael, a former Germany Under-21 international who missed out against Burkina Faso as he awaited Fifa approval for switching allegiances, had the luckiest start in this game as they got off with an early goal.

In the fourth minute Manucho caught Najem Abdullah in possession before racing clear and finishing with a clinical strike in the corner to make it 1-0.
