Stima face Batambuze setback

Kakamega - Kakamega based Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Western Stima’s hopes of securing the services of Ugandan dangerman Shafik Batambuze have suffered a fresh blow.
The player, formerly of Ugandan top flight side Sports Club Villa, spent the entire mid-season break with the Bukhungu Stadium outfit but his move has hit a snag with the Ugandan side said to have placed a high price tag on him.
According to the Stima deputy coach, Hesbon Nyabinge, all the paperwork to facilitate the move has been done save for securing his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) as the striker’s club has asked for a transfer fee of Kshs 1,000,000.
