Stars to play against Burundi in friendly match

Nairobi - Harambee Stars will play against the Burundi Senior National team as part of the team’s preparation for the AFCON 2015 qualifier against Lesotho away on 20th July, 2014.
The match is scheduled for 15 July at the Nyayo National Stadium, kick off 4.00pm.
“The 25 man Swallows delegation arrives in the country on Monday 14th aboard Rwandair and depart on Wednesday 16th July,” the Football Federation of Kenya (FKF) said in a statement sent to media houses.
According to the statement, Burundi will field a strong squad which includes their professionals playing in the Tanzania and Ugandan leagues.
FKF has already released the gate charges for the match. VIPs will pay KES 500 while those who will sit on the terraces will be charged KES 200.
FKF President Sam Nyamweya has made a call to all football fans to grace the match in large numbers.
“As a federation we want to ensure that our national team is ready to the task ahead as we begin our journey towards qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco,” he said.
