Stars ready for Togo duel

29 February 2012, 14:18

Nairobi - Harambee Stars begin their quest for a place in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations against Togo’s Sparrow Hawks in Nairobi on Wednesday.

Stars who are seeking to qualify for Africa’s showpiece event for the first time in almost a decade will be looking for a comfortable win in the first leg of this qualifier against the West Africans at Nyayo National Stadium.

Preparations however have been far from ideal with Macdonald Mariga’s refusal to participate in the match over a Kshs1.5 million debt overshadowing the build up.
