Sserunkuma wants out of Gor Mahia

19 November 2013, 11:42

Nairobi - Dan Sserunkuma has handed in a transfer request to leave Gor Mahia.

The striker has been in sizzling form this season for the club and has been key to their ascencion to the Kenyan Premier League title but having had a move to Armenia collapse in mid-season, he has again forced his way into leaving the club.

Secretary General George Bawa confirmed the request.

" He has handed in a letter yesterday and has asked to leave the club in the off-season. It is to the same destination as was in the other transfer request.

" We will not stand in his way as a club as long as everything is done in the right way, he added.

Sserunkuma was the KPL player of the year in 2012 as well as the second highest goal scorer. In 2013, he has scored eight league goals for Gor.
