Nairobi - Dan Sserunkuma is happy with life at Gor Mahia but is still keen to press on with a move away from the club.
The striker handed in a transfer request two weeks ago and is eying a move to Europe where he feels he can make career progression after three years in the Kenyan game.
While that is yet to go through, he is back in Kenya representing the Uganda Cranes in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup and has had the opportunity to meet some of his Gor teammates.
He admits that he is happy with Gor and would gladly stay but insists that he feels it is time to move on.
" I have no problem with Gor Mahia. It has been a good home for me and I thank them for the help. I just think that it is time to move on and I feel I can get a move elsewhere and progress in my career.
" It is in the pipeline and hopefully will be completed soon but that is not for me to talk about now. Now I'm a Uganda Cranes players, he said.
Sserunkuma was Gor's top scorer in the 2013 season in the Kenyan Premier League.
