Southampton release Wanyama for Harambee Stars camp

Nairobi - Victor Wanyama has been released by club side Southampton to take part in the Harambee Stars AFCON qualifiers versus Lesotho.
The English Premier League (EPL) side departed for Belgium on Sunday 13 July with a squad of 27 players and as revealed on the club’s official site for a pre-season tour of Belgium.
Wanyama will miss the trip in order to prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers match against Lesotho.

The Saints will play EHC Hoensbroek on July 15 before facing KSK Hasselt two days later.
The Stars play Lesotho in Maseru over the weekend and then here at home, two weeks later.
