Sofapaka's Ndolo attracting foreign attention

Nairobi - Anthony Ndolo claims there are "several clubs" both from within the KPL
and overseas that are interested in luring him away in the off-season.
The playmaker enjoyed a superb campaign with Batoto ba Mungu in 2014,
underlined by the fact he was recently named as one of the nominees for
the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year award.
according to the player, has led to a flurry of interest in his
services, with domestic outfits Tusker FC and AFC Leopards believed to
be keen on reaching some sort of agreement, while Serbian outfit FK
Jagodina have also been credited with an interest.

still have six months on my contract. Tusker and AFC Leopards have
spoken to me about joining them but we are yet to arrive at a deal with
either of them," Ndolo, who bagged nine goals last season, told the
KPL's official website.

"I have also received an invitation to
attend trials with Serbian club Jagodina, but at the moment I prefer to
consolidate my career here at home first before I move abroad. So I am
hoping to join a local club that will present an attractive contract."

having also been short-listed for the Midfielder of the year honour, and
the 28-year-old admits the news came as a big shock to him.
