Nairobi - Sofapaka coach Francis Kimanzi has attributed his team’s late charge for honours to teamwork and commitment from players and management.
The 2009 champions are in the final of FKL Cup as well as in with a chance to win the league crown after a barnstorming run in the last six weeks as the players seem to have adapted to Kimanzi’s style of coaching.
"I am happy the philosophy I instilled on my players is working as they have managed to gain confidence with each passing game. It was not easy at first when I sort to change the style of play but with time everyone adapted," Kimanzi told SuperSport.com.
"In football the tactical and technical awareness contributes over 80 percent of any team’s progress and that what I have been working on," he added.
Sofapaka are currently third on the log with 42 points six shy of leaders Tusker though they a game in hand.
Sofapaka face Gor Mahia in the FKL Cup final on Wednesday hoping to defend the title they won last season.
