SoNy Sugar sign Chemelil stopper Adira

18 December 2014, 15:11

Nairobi - SoNy Sugar have already moved to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2015 Kenyan Premier League campaign following the signing of Jairus Adira.

The news comes as a major coup for the Millers, with Adira having been named KPL Goalkeeper of the Year for 2014 following his heroics for Chemelil Sugar, where he conceded a league-low 16 goals all season.

"We are very happy to bring in a young and talented goalkeeper to add competition in that department. We all know his credentials from the past season. We hope they will improve each other," said SoNy coach Zico Otieno.

Adira will now join up with his new team-mates when his contract with Chemelil expires on December 31 of this year.
