SoNy Sugar continue with Leopards preparation

Nairobi - SoNy Sugar are preparing for the upcoming clash with AFC Leopards as normal, according to head coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno.
The match has been shrouded in controversy for the last couple of months after SoNy first failed to travel for the match in Nakuru, saying that they had been denied the opportunity to choose a location of their own.
The match was then awarded to Leopards, then after an appeal, taken away by the Kenyan Premier League, before the Football Kenya Federation intervened to hand it to Leopards.
However, the match was then marked for a replay by an appeals committee and to be played Thursday but Leopards have since said that they will not honour the match.
Zico though says that he is preparing his team as usual.

" I have been informed that we have a match Thursday and so we are preparing for it. The rest has its own handlers and people in-charge, he said.
" We are looking forward to it and hopefully, we will have no controversies on the material day, he added.
The two sides are haggling for a place in the top eight of the league, which guarantees a position in the KPL Top 8 the following season.
