Sharp rise for Kenya in FIFA ranking

Nairobi - The senior men’s national soccer team’s impressive form
has been rewarded with a significant move up the Federation of International
Football Associations (FIFA) rankings table.
According to the FIFA/ Coca Cola rankings released on
Thursday, Kenya were one of the major movers on the table in as they soared up places to 109th.
They are 32nd in the continent.
This is the latest in a series of positive fortunes for
the Harambee Stars who have won their last four matches on the trot.
The purple patch culminated in the side clinching the
Council of Central and East African Football Associations (CECAFA) Senior
Challenge following a 2-0 victory over rivals Sudan.
