25 July 2014, 19:30

Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars forward Kevin Amwayi Serenge has backed his partnership with Evans Amwoka and Steve Waruru to boost their side in their remaining Kenyan Premier League fixtures.

The Soldiers are currently place seventh in the standings following their 2-0 win over Mathare United midweek, which brought their total points tally to 26 points from 18 matches.

Serenge believes that they have improved individually and could prove to be a thorn on the opposition in the second round of league fixtures.

"We have been sharper than how we started the league and everyone has picked up," he the club's official website

"Amwoka who started low has managed to pick up well and so has Waruru (who is the club's leading scorer with six goals).

"I have been very pleased playing alongside those two and I am hoping that we can improve on our conversion rate as the games progress," he added.
