Sacked Top Fry coach Page should have been given time

06 March 2014, 16:23

Nairobi - Sacked Top Fry AllStars head coach Oliver Page says he could have turned around the club's fortunes had he been given time.

Page was sacked early this week by the AllStars board who thought he was not good enough to help the club move forward as an entity in the Kenyan Premier League after three losses in the first three games.

The German though, feels that it was a total lack of faith from the club that cost him his job.

" I feel I could have helped the club but that is not my choice any more, he said.

" Football is a game of time and numbers. I was sadly not given time to work my way out having arrived late towards the beggining of the season but that is the way it is.

" I wish the club all the best, he added.

The AllStars have not yet scored in the current KPL season, having conceded seven goals in the same period of time.
