Ribery over World Cup disappointment

Nairobi - Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery insists he is over his World Cup woe and is focused on doing his best for his club.
The Frenchman missed out on a spot at the tournament in Brazil due to
a back injury and has been working hard in rehabilitation to get ready
for the new season.
The 32-year-old return to action for the Bavarians Telekom Cup over
the weekend as his side beat both Borussia Monchengladbach and
"I wanted to be there [at the World Cup in Brazil], but I have got it
out of my system," he told reporters following the 3-0 win over Die
"I'm fit again, but before and after training I have to get my back checked, get treatment, get a massage. But it's good.
"I was in top shape for two and a half years -- I was in really good
form. After my injury at the start of the year, I lost my rhythm -- but
I'm now back on the right track."
New signing Robert Lewandowski continued his impressive pre-season for Bayern as he struck twice in the win over Wolfsburg.
And Ribery is delighted that his new team-mate is settling in so quickly, adding: "It's good for us and him.
"It gives him self-confidence. I hope we'll have a great season together and win several trophies again."
