Nairobi - The return of Rama Salim, George 'Blackberry' Odhiambo and Dan Sserunkuma has handed Gor Mahia a head-start for the 2014 season.
The three have returned to the club for the upcoming season and have been excellent in pre-season so far, showing flashes of brilliance as Gor look to start the season on a high.
Rama and Blackberry were instrumental in the weekend friendly win over second tier Mumbi Nationale while Sserunkuma scored for Gor.
They have also looked happy and focused in training and will be a major part of Gor if the club is to make an impression in the upcoming season.
According to head coach Bobby Williamson, the future is bright with the three on board.
" The three are important players and we are happy and lucky to have them here. We expect so much from them and also depend on them to perform.
" The beauty is that all three can be game changers in their own right and that is a factor that matters to the club and our set-up.
" A succesful 2014 will be so if the three can be there throughout the season, Williamson said.
Gor have the DSTV Super Cup, KPL defence, CAF Champions League, GOtv Shield, Kenya Power Charity Cup and KPL Top 8.
