Rachier promises to improve Gor Mahia

21 January 2014, 13:44

Nairobi - Ambrose Rachier has insisted that he will improve Gor Mahia after earning another term as the club's chairman.

Rachier beat off competition to win another term as Gor boss and he says that the club will gain seven fold from his stay at the helm.

He argues that he will transform Gor into an elite club in the coming year.

" I am happy and proud to return as Gor Mahia chair, he said.

" This is a massive club and deserves to be led by a person who has a great vision and I think that I provide that in plenty, he added.

" The mission is to ensure that the club grows and achieves much more than it did in the past year. That is the challenge.

" We have the CAF Champions League on the way as well as retaining the KPL title. Those two will be the mission for this season.

" Further than that, we hope to grow the club as an entity and get in more sponsorship deals and look for ways of securing our own grounds which is key.

" With the help of the new team members, nothing is impossible.
