Nairobi - Timothy Otieno admits it is a "great honour" to have received a call up to the Kenya team ahead of Sunday's crunch AFCON qualifier.
The Harambee Stars play host to the second-leg tie this weekend,
trailing 1-0 from the reverse fixture, meaning they need nothing less
than victory to book their place at next year's Morocco showpiece.
having been handed a vote of confidence by the Kenyan coaching staff,
Gor Mahia forward Otieno is hoping he can repay the faith come this
"It is a great honour to be called up to the national
team so early in my career and I am happy about it. My expectations are
to make an impression," he said.
"I know that there are very many good players here who have experience, so I want to learn from them and also do my best.
"I would like to play against Lesotho but it is too early for me to say."
