Onyango takes snub on the chin

Nairobii - Gor Mahia goalkeeper Jerim Onyango was one of the notable players to be left out of the Harambee Stars squad that is set to travel to Bujumbura to take on Burundi in an African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier.
The keeper, who was named the second best custodian in the Kenyan Premier League (TPL) in the 2012 season, was surprised by his omission but says he has no hard feelings and has vowed to work harder to cement his place in the national set-up.
Duncan Ochieng, who really impressed at the CECAFA Senior Challenge, and the 2012 KPL keeper of the year Boniface Oluoch were named in the travelling team, and Jerim believes the two will add value.
