Omondi to work hard at Swallows

02 July 2014, 17:20

Nairobi - Kevin Ade Omondi has said that he will work hard and do his best after signing a two-year contract with Moroka Swallows.

The midfielder became the club's first official signing ahead of the new season, following the departures of Asavela Mbekile to Mamelodi Sundowns and Levy Mokgothu to Kaizer Chiefs.

Omondi could not hide his excitement when confirming the deal with African Football, saying: "This is a dream come true (for me).

"I will work hard so that I can achieve a lot as a player and also use this chance as a stepping stone for other greater things to come," he added.

Swallows have also agreed to take Kaizer Chiefs duo Lucky Baloyi and Philani Cele on loan, as compensation for the departing Mokgothu.
