Omino targets top five finish

15 September 2014, 15:43

Nairobi - Western Stima coach Francis Omino says his side will continue to fight to finish in the top five of the Kenya Premier League this season.

Stima are currently ninth in the KPL standings, with 31 points on the board after 24 matches.

Kenya Power registered their latest victory on Sunday when they beat AFC Leopards 2-1, much to their mentor's delight.

"Our target is the top five and I am happy that we are all working towards it so far," Omino told Futaa.

"We will not relax because we understand what dropping points in one game can do to you in this league. We will continue working hard.

Thika United are the current occupants of fifth spot, two points ahead of Stima in sixth with six matches to go in the 2014 league campaign.
