Nairobi - Gor Mahia striker Michael Olunga has vowed to put pressure on Kenyan
Premier League leading scorer Jesse Were in the race for the golden
Olunga, who is two goals behind Were atop the scoring charts, bagged
the solitary goal in the win over Western Stima on Wednesday to keep
within touching distance.
With the last round of fixtures remaining, Olunga needs score a brace
or more to either jointly land the accolade or win it outright.
"I feel happy. I knew that I had to score today and I had told the team to support me," Olunga told Soka.
"I was scared at the beginning of the first half when I fell down
hard and had to be treated outside the pitch, but I was lucky to be able
to continue and get the goal."
