Olunga happy with unbeaten Gor Mahia

30 June 2015, 11:42

Nairobi - Gor Mahia's four goal hero Michael Olunga was thrilled after he powered his team to a comprehensive victory over Chemelil Sugar in the Kenyan Premier League.

The defending league champions extended their lead atop the table to 14 points following a 4-1 win on Saturday.
Olunga became the third player in the competition's history to score four goals in a game, after Kepha Aswani in 2011 and Jesse Were in 2013.

"The special thing is not me scoring four goals, it is the fact that we maintain our unbeaten run and we won. We want to win the league and that will be very special for me," Olunga told SuperSport.

The former Tusker and Thika United striker has already surpassed his personal best tally of nine goals last year, having already scored 11 this season.
