Nairobi - Gor Mahia assistant coach Frank Ouna admits he has been thoroughly
impressed with Michael Olunga, and expects the striker to only get
better as the season progresses.
The forward joined K'Ogalo on loan from Liberty Academy in January,
and marked his Kenyan Premier League debut with a brace in the 4-2 win
over Mathare United in this past weekend's season opener.
And, despite the 20-year-old getting off to a flying start, Ouna
believes Olunga still has plenty more to offer, telling the KPL's
official website: "Olunga is still a young fella who can do even better.
"He seems to be taking in all the advice from the technical bench and I honestly think that he will go far in his career."
The coach continued: "You realise that his two goals were scored very
differently. His variation of play and the options he gives up front
"The most important part is that he is able to play as a lone
striker, he can also pair up with a twin, or even with three strikers in
front without getting lost."
