Ochieng gets deputy captain role

Nairobi - Sofapaka goalkeeper Duncan Ochieng has a new feather in his cap as he has been named the club’s deputy captain, taking over from legendary forward John Baraza.
Baraza was recently elevated to the status of deputy coach while still helping out as the team’s lead striker in what was seen as a way by the club to keep hold of him after many years of service, thus relinquishing the deputy skipper’s role.
Confirming the goalkeeper’s elevation, the club’s coach David Ouma tipped him to do well, lauding him as a great leader and an inspiration to the upcoming keepers, not just in the team but countrywide.
