Nuttall eyes long unbeaten run

14 May 2015, 18:25

Nairobi - Gor Mahia head coach Frank Nuttall is confident his side can end the first-half of the Kenyan Premier League season with their unbeaten run intact.

K'Ogalo are already threatening to run away with the league this season, having gone undefeated in their opening 11 matches, winning eight and drawing three to sit eight points clear at the top of the table.

Gor did, however, see a similar run come to an end last term when going down 2-0 to Nakuru All Stars - formerly Top Fry All Stars - the team they will face on Sunday at the Nairobi City Stadium.

"I'm proud of my tenure, I wasn't part of the team that lost the unbeaten run and this current squad wasn't part of it either. All Stars have changed as well so the names are the same but details are different," Nuttall told Capital FM.

"We had a very tough outing last weekend (a goalless draw against Western Stima) in travelling and playing so, I'm satisfied to come out with four points from western Kenya.
