Nairobi - Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) failed to reach an amicable solution pertaining the Top Eight tournament impasse after a day-long meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting was called after KPL furnished the federation with relevant information it had requested after they overruled the decision by the league’s governing council to award a walkover to Gor Mahia after AFC Leopards failed to honour a quarterfinal on Sunday.
Sources intimated to SuperSport.com that FKF remained adamant and wanted the game to be replayed but KPL felt uncomfortable with after they made the decision to award the walkover.
