New Gor Mahia coach will not change style

04 September 2014, 12:00

Nairobi - New Gor Mahia coach Francis Nuttal says he will not execute a change in playing style at the club.

Nuttal officially joined Gor Wednesday on a three month contract with the possibility of an extension in the event of a succesful starting period.

The new coach says that he will not change much for now as he seeks to ensure the players perform and retain the Kenyan Premier League title.

" I will not change much because it is too late in the season to do so. Hopefully the players will just respond to the tweaks I make but that will not border on the excessive, he said.

" They have had a style which won them the title and has them top of the table so for now, it will be more of the same, he added.

Gor are top of the KPL with 9 games left to play and have games in hand on their rivals.
