Nasio eyes KPL return

08 January 2015, 09:38

Nairobi - Former Gor Mahia defender Solomon Nasio says he will be back in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in 2015, after recovering from a fractured nose bridge that saw him released by K’Ogalo.

The defender suffered the breakage in the first leg of the 2014 season in a league game and the injury got serious in the match against Bandari FC in Mombasa, and he had to be withdrawn for Simon Pierre, making it his last match for the champions but he says he is in talks with a KPL club for a return in 2015.

The defender, who served at Gor Mahia for seven years, declined to reveal the particular club, only noting that talks are at an advanced stage with a deal set to be reached in a few days.
