Nairobi - Former Kenya international Patrick Oboya has been recruited to add
firepower to Nakuru AllStars ahead of the second half of the season.
Oboya joins the struggling AllStars on a short-term deal from Tusker after an unsuccessful six-month stint.
AllStars chief executive Robert Muthomi confirmed the midfielder's signing to SuperSport.
"Oboya has agreed to join the team and he will be of great help in the struggle to stay in the top league," Muthomi said.
"He is a very experienced player and we have all seen what he can do;
I believe he will enable us compete more favorably in the second leg."
Coach Peter Okidi hailed the Oboya's acquisition, stating his experience would come in handy for the bottom-placed AllStars.
"He joins us on a short term deal, which works well for all of us
because we have our sights set on avoiding the drop and his experience
will be of really great help in the second leg," Okidi said.
