Nairobi derby takes centre stage in Kenyan Premier League

Nairobi - The Nairobi derby pitting AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia will take centre stage this weekend in the Kenyan Premier League.
The two giants of the Kenyan game meet at the Nyayo National Stadium Stadium Sunday as round 19 of league action takes centre stage.
Gor will be hoping for revenge, having been beaten 3-1 by Leopards in the first leg.
Leopards on their part have been in poor form of late, the win over the Nairobi City Stars their first in a while.
Gor, lead the way in the league, a full 15 points above Leopards.
12,000 tickets will be
printed for the terraces at a cost of KES 300 and 3,000 VIP tickets at KES 500.
There will be no advance sales of tickets
and they shall be available only during the match day at outlets to be
advised later, no tickets will be sold within the stadium precincts inorder to avoid
Gates will be opened as from
11PM on match-day and only ticket holders will be allowed entry.
FKF and KPL and the home club
has confirmed that a contingent of over 300 security organs will be deployed
and a barrier created by uniformed police will be put in place at the Gate 7 terraces
to separate both set of fans.
As per the earlier derby
played between both teams in the first leg CCTV cameras will be positioned
around the stadium and will monitor all activities and those identified will be
arrested on the spot.
No vehicles will be allowed
to park at the VIP area and no motorbikes will be allowed inside the stadium.
All fans will undergo
physical body checks and scanners will be at all gates.
Fans have been advised to be
of good behavior as witnessed in the last derby between both teams.
