Muhoroni given the all clear

22 February 2013, 15:00

Awendo - The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) secretariat has handed Muhoroni Youth FC a lifeline after the team handed in a list of their players for the 2013 KPL season as directed by the KPL board after an earlier meeting.

Muhoroni was in danger of being locked out of the Kenyan top flight after failing to present their list of players for the season before the set deadline, on 31 January 2013.

The board had, as a result, directed that the team pays a fine of 500,000 shillings then hand in the list of players by Tuesday 19 February, to which the club duly complied and is assured of top flight football in 2013.
