Muhoroni eye top 8 finish
24 July 2015, 10:30
Nairobi - The Chairman of Kenya Premier League outfit Muhoroni Youth, Moses
Adagala, is confident his side can still finish in the top eight despite
a difficult first half of the season.
Muhoroni were sitting just above the relegation zone when the league
went on its mid-season break, but they have begun the second half of the
season unbeaten with two draws followed by a 1-0 over Bandari.
The team's form since the break has given Adagala confidence the side
has what it takes to break into the top eight of the league this
"We undoubtedly performed dismally in the first leg of the season," he told Daily Nation Sport.
"We are ready to put behind that and focus on how better we can improve on our performance in the upcoming matches.
"The players have been giving their all and it's just a matter of time before we realise our dream.
"We still target to attain a top eight finish and I know this is
achievable if we keep on improving and posting good results," he added.
The Millers new-found form will face its toughest test yet as they
take on second-placed Ulinzi Stars on Sunday, who are on a five game
unbeaten run including four wins and a draw.
