Muhiddin delighted with victory

27 May 2013, 13:40

Mombasa - Bandari coach Twahhir Muhiddin was a happy man after his side recovered from last weekend’s defeat to Karuturi Sports to stun former Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka 2-1 in a pulsating clash on Sunday.

Eric Okoth, who was named the Man of the Match, struck a brace in the span of four minutes in the first half to give the Dockers a comfortable 2-0 lead before Eugene Asike pulled a goal back for Sofapaka in the 40th minute.

Okoth scored in the 20th and 24th minutes respectively via set pieces as the Coastal-based side moved up to the third place on the log.
