More funds for Leopards' bus drive

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) leaders AFC Leopards' dreams of acquiring
a bus moved closer with a further boost of Sh1.2 million from well
The amount is in addition to the Sh2.4 million raised during the
club’s fundraiser at a Nairobi hotel a week ago targeting to raise Sh6
million to purchase the 46 seater bus.
The team’s bus project got an injection of Sh600,000 from Prime
Minister Raila Odinga, Equity Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) James
Mwangi sent Sh200,000 with similar amounts from former AFC Leopards
chairman who is the Westlands Member of Parliament Fred Gumo and unnamed
friend of the Premier.
