Nairobi - The Harambee Stars will not be affected by the hot weather in Mombasa according to defender Jockins Atudo.
The quarterfinals of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup will be held in the Coastal City of Mombasa where the levels of humidity can be notoriously high.
That said, all eight quarter-finalists will have to deal with the weather and even though he knows how hot it can get down there, Atudo says they will be prepared for it.
" It is hot in Mombasa and we know that, he said.
" The weather can play a part in how the outcomes of the matches go because it takes a physical toll on the players and the way they perform.
" We are experienced in such situations and most of us have played abroad and outside the country so I'm sure we will cope, he added.
There has been questions over the weather condition in Mombasa and how it will affect teams in the last eight.
