Mombasa pitch to blame for Gor loss: Williamson

The poor state of the Mombasa County Stadium pitch is to blame for Gor Mahia's loss to Bandari, head coach Bobby Williamson has said.
Gor lost 2-1 to the dockers Sunday, their second loss of the season and fourth game in a row without a win in the Kenyan Premier League.
The loss was met with angry reactions by Gor fans who wanted an explanation to the ongoing run of form of which the coach had an answer to.
" The pitch was very bad today. It was appalling and should not be used at this level of the game, he said.
" We were not at our best in the first half and we improved in the second but the state of the pitch did not help us a slight bit, he added.
Gor are placed sixth on the KPL log with 10 points from seven games played.
