Matano eyes Ulinzi upsurge

03 April 2014, 14:20

Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars head coach Robert Matano is eyeing an upsurge in performances in coming weeks.

Matano has arrived at Ulinzi where he will be expected to lead the club to silverware this season after a few barren years.

With an opening home draw versus Thika United in his first game in-charge Matano sees that there is room for growth at the club.

" There is room for growth and the players at the club have won before so it is not an issue lifting them to play.

" We are hoping to win points and rise up the table in coming weeks. We are confident it can happen, he added.

Ulinzi have six points from seven games in the Kenyan Premier League.
