Mariga remains club-less but hopeful after transfer window

Nairobi - MacDonald Mariga is club-less after missing out on a transfer at the close of the just ended transfer window.
The Harambee Stars defensive midfielder was released by Inter Milan in the summer and is now a free agent after two seasons of eternal injuries.
He is now still searching for a club and according to persons close to him, is confident he will get a club soon.

" He is hopeful. We are looking at a few options and hopefully we will get something for him, the source that did not want to be named said.
Mariga's brother Victor Wanyama plays for Premier League side Southampton, where Mariga was also linked to in the summer but a deal did not materialize.
