Mapunda ready to leave Gor Mahia

06 December 2013, 17:17

Nairobi - Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia may be on the verge of losing their second choice keeper, Tanzanian international Philip Ivo Mapunda, unless they open talks over contract extension within the next few days, reports Supersport.com.

The keeper, who joined Gor Mahia from Bandari at the end of the 2011 season will see his contract run out on Monday 16 December and he admits he can’t tell whether or not he will be at the team in 2014 since no contract talks have been opened.

He said he is willing to listen to offers from other clubs once his deal with Gor Mahia expires.
