Manchester United v Olympiakos factfile

18 March 2014, 09:20

Manchester - Factfile on Manchester United and Olympiakos ahead of the Champions League last 16, second leg tie between the clubs on Wednesday:

Form: The pressure is more intense than ever on Manchester United's under-fire manager David Moyes coming into the second leg of their tie against Olympiakos. If United's 2-0 defeat in the first leg in Greece last month represented a low ebb in a difficult debut season for Moyes at Old Trafford, then Sunday's 3-0 home reverse to bitter rivals Liverpool was even worse. It hammered home the extent to which the Premier League champions have faded as a force this season and Moyes desperately needs his side to pull off a dramatic comeback against Olympiakos. But Michel's men - who won the first leg thanks to goals from Chori Dominguez and Joel Campbell - are full of confidence after clinching a 41st Greek title at the weekend, when a 2-0 home win against Panthrakikos gave them an unassailable 18-point lead at the top of the table with five games left.
