The tournament will be held in early November.
Southern African teams Malawi and Zambia, the former African champions, have been confirmed as the guest participants.
CECAFA Secretary, General Nicholas Musonye, confirmed the participation of the two guest teams.
“I’m glad all the 12 Cecafa member countries have confirmed participation and the additional confirmation by the guest countries is such a great boost for us,” said Musonye.
Also expected to grace the tournament is the Confederation of African Football (CAF) President, Issa Hayatou.
The premier East and Southern African football championship will be played in Kisumu, Mumias, Nakuru, Nairobi and Machakos in Kenya.
Zambia, the African champions, are expected to attract full houses while Malawi are a vastly-improving outfit.
