Logarusic sets sights on title

04 October 2012, 11:59

nairobi - Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic was a happy man after his side leapfrogged AFC Leopards into second position in the Tusker Premier League after a 2-1 win over bottom-placed Rangers on Wednesday.

“I knew this would be a tricky game. A wounded lion is always very dangerous (referring to Rangers). But I’m very happy that we got the maximum points. We now have the bird in our cage and we will not let it fly away,”

In its last league matches, Gor will host 12th-placed Karuturi Sports on 24 October at the City Stadium, Tusker FC on 27 October at the same venue, play away against giant killers Muhoroni Youth on 4 November, before hosting Thika United in its last league match on 10 November.
