Leopards turn attention to Top 8

01 April 2014, 16:33

Nairobi - AFC Leopards have turned their attention to the KPL Top 8 clash with Bandari over the weekend.

Leopards have been stuttering in the Kenyan Premier League and will thus look to gain some momentum by beating the dockers in the quarter finals in Nakuru on Saturday.

It will give them the chance to move on from some poor displays in the league and ease pressure on head coach James Nandwa.

" We are looking forward to it. We have never won it and so it is on the list of priorities, captain Martin Imbalambala said.

Bandari will arrive in the Rift Valley fresh from a welcome win over Gor Mahia in the KPL and Imbalambala knows it will not be easy.

" They will be confident but we will be careful and hope for the best, he added.

Tusker FC are the current holders of the Top 8.
