Leopards sorting out Wanyonyi situation

Nairobi - AFC Leopards are in talks with Joseph Wanyonyi and are hoping to clear with the forward to allow him resume action following his refusal to play for the club.
Wanyonyi had vowed not to play for Leopards again after they issued him with a bouncing cheque as part of his singing on fee last week after joining from Gor Mahia.
His fee was KES 500,000 but the cheque he was given bounced and the player said he would not play for Leopards again.
Chairman Allan Kasavuli says that the disagreement has been sorted out and that the player will resume duty once they clear with him in the coming days.
" There was a disagreement as regards his payment but we have spoken and he is willing to return once we sort out his payment which is what we have actually done, he said.
Wanyonyi was plucked from Gor Mahia in the June transfer window, a move he says he regretted last week following his debacle.
