Leopards seek financial help to compete in CAF Confederations Cup

Nairobi - AFC Leopards will hold a fundraiser to aid their plight to compete in the upcoming CAF Confederations Cup.
Leopards will compete in their first continental competition in a number of years when they take on Ethiopian outfit Defence in the preliminary stages of the competition.
Club chair Allan Kasavuli says that they will hold a fundraiser to try raise funds for their tilt at continental glory.
" AFC Leopards Sports Club National Executive Committee invites members, friends, fans and well-wishers to a Fundraising Ceremony to fund the forthcoming International Assignments. The money collected will aid the club do well in the upcoming matches, a statement from his office read.
The ceremony will be held on Wednesday February 5, 2014 at The Laico Regency Hotel Nairobi starting 6pm.
Being the reigning GOTV Shield Champions, Leopards qualified to represent the country with the first match slated for the second week of February against the Ethiopian outfit.
The club targets to raise KES 20 million to meet budgetary obligations including but not limited to flight tickets, accommodation and match official fees.
