20 December 2013, 12:18

Nairobi - AFC Leopards have agreed terms with KPL player of the year Jacob Keli.

Keli has been linked with a number of clubs including Tusker FC and Sofapaka but Leopards have jumped to the top of the queue after offering the player top class terms.

Club chair Allan Kasavuli has confirmed that the club has indeed agreed to sign the player, pending final documentation.

" Keli will be an AFC Leopards player in the very near future, he said.

" We have agreed terms with him and are just waiting to agree on the final documentation with his club KCB, he said.

Keli on the other hand is happy to be zeroing in on a move to a big club.

" It is a big club and everyone wants to play for a big club in their careers.

" Hopefully everything will work out and we will be able to finish the deal very soon, he said.

Keli was the 2013 KPL top scorer as well as player of the year.
